Pre-Intermediate - Intermediate

1. Grammar and Vocabulary: to review the basic structures of English and give practice of problematic areas for Russian learners such as: use of auxiliary verbs, word order in sentences, position in sentences of time adverbials, perfect tenses, articles and prepositions.

2. Speaking: to give students intensive speaking practice through  Task-Based learning activities.

3. Pronunciation: to introduce students to the 10 sounds that cause the biggest problems for Russian learners.

4. Listening: to build students' comprehension of fluent native speaker speech, and develop their confidence in speaking.

Upper-Intermediate

1. Grammar and Vocabulary: to review and give practice of some of the more complex structures in English, and to develop students' knowledge of higher level vocabulary such as phrasal verbs and idioms.

2. Speaking: to give students intensive speaking practice through debate and discussion activities.

3. Pronunciation: to introduce students to the 10 sounds that cause the biggest problems for Russian learners.

4. Listening and Speaking: to build students' comprehension of fluent native speaker speech, and develop their confidence in speaking. To increase students' abilities to understand music, TV, films etc in English.
